Running plans for iPhone and Apple Watch
A running plan that fits your week.
Dromo builds an adaptive plan for your next 5K, 10K, half or marathon, or just for running more. Each session goes to Apple Watch with its paces and steps. No account, and your training stays on your iPhone.
For iPhone with iOS 26 or later. Apple Watch optional.
How it works
Three steps, then you run.
- 1
Tell it about your running
Setup asks about your recent running, the days you have, how long sessions can be and how you recover. Add a recent race result if you have one.
- 2
Review the draft
See every week before you start: the phases, the recovery weeks and the longest run. Nothing begins until you accept it.
- 3
Run with Apple Watch
Sessions land in Apple’s Workout app with the warm-up, pace or heart-rate ranges, repeats and recovery. The Watch runs them, with no extra app.
Adaptive plan
It changes as you train.
Dromo estimates your current fitness from race results and running history, with Apple cardio fitness as supporting evidence. Every completed run and check-in shapes the sessions ahead.
- Training phases and recovery weeks are built in, and increases in running volume are limited.
- Targets use pace, heart rate or perceived effort, depending on the data you have.
- Report illness or pain and the plan steps back. Concerning symptoms point you to a doctor.
- Change your goal or your days whenever your week changes.
Easy runs of ten minutes or more. Quicker at the same effort is fitness showing.
Every goal
From your first run to a marathon.
- 5K
- 10K
- Half marathon

- Running without a race
Starting out
Run/walk sessions on up to three days a week, with rest between runs. Check-ins confirm each stage before you move on, and a stage can repeat.
Chasing a time
Goals like a sub-20 5K use paces from your current fitness, a check that the goal is within reach, and race-specific work.
No race at all
Build a habit or keep fit. No all-out fitness test, and the countdown runs to your last session instead.
At a glance
One colour, one meaning.
Easy is blue, effort is coral, race day is orange, done is green and today is yellow. They mean the same thing on every screen, and in the Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets.
